Spinach Omelet for Breakfast or Brunch

My spinach omelette is not only delicious, but it contains two of the most incredibly healthy ingredients that will not only taste great but will benefit your weight loss journey.  Of course I’m talking about the spinach and eggs!!! lol

I love spinach and was excited to find out that besides the great taste, it also has so many health benefits! For example, spinach is very low in calories, high in vitamins a , k and e.  It contains high magnesium, fibre, and is a great source of protein and calcium.

Did you know that studies indicate that spinach can prevent cancer? That’s amazing!! It also can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.  It can increase brain function and is a natural anti-inflammatory too!

Another incredible fact that I was surprised to learn is that spinach promotes healthy vision ( it has dietary sources of lutein). It can also  increase your circulation, bone density and helps fight infections.

The other healthy ingredient in my omelette is of course the delicious eggs! Eggs only have 77 calories, 6 grams of protein, and 5 grams of healthy fats! They are one of the most perfect foods as they contain a little bit of almost every nutrient you body needs. A single egg has lots of vitamins  along with iron, minerals, and carotenoids.  The egg is a powerhouse of disease-fighting nutrients like lutein and zeaxanthin.


So, eating my spinach omelette will not only be incredibly delightful to eat for any meal but it will give you a healthy dose of high proteins, decrease your hunger throughout the day, and provide all the aforementioned health benefits! Most importantly adding my spinach omelette daily or at least a few times a week will certainly help with your journey to lose weight!  Enjoy!
